The Office of Employment Dispute Resolution (EDR) includes EDR, the Office of Investigations and Records Management (OIRM) and the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) (collectively, the EDR Offices). The EDR Offices facilitate the investigation of pre and post-hire employment matters, and make recommendations, as appropriate, to ensure that schools and offices of the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) comply with applicable policies, rules and procedures.
The Office of EDR provides the following services:
- Promotes the effective investigation and resolution of employment matters via the Office of Investigations and Records Management and the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity. Please see individual office sites for more information.
- Administers pre-hearing procedural due process for employment matters.
- Provides general information and guidance to BCPS management on interpretation and application of BCPS policies, rules, and procedures.
- Presents trainings and workshops to support management in their investigation and resolution of personnel matters.
