Nine outstanding school educators and administrators have been selected as this year’s finalists for the BCPS Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, and Assistant Principal of the Year. The honorees will be recognized at a special Champions for Children Celebration Gala April 23 at George Washington Carver Center.

The approved budget request, which includes a $126.4 million increase over the FY 2025 general fund budget, will help the system sustain its forward progress and accelerate efforts to bolster student achievement.
