The BCPS Online Learning Program is accepting applications from families interested in enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year. The program is only open to students who will be entering Grades 5-12 next school year. The application deadline is Friday, December 12.

MSDE released the 2025 Maryland Report Card and BCPS leads the state with the most 5 Star schools (23), and, for the second year in a row, BCPS improved its average Star Rating. BCPS has the highest percentage of 5-Star schools among all medium and large school systems in the state. Twenty-six schools saw an increase in their overall Star Rating, and the number of 1-Star and 2-Star schools dropped by six in 2025.

BCPS honors the resilience of Indigenous people and celebrates the rich history and traditions of Native Americans.
