Department of Transportation

The mission of the Baltimore County Schools Department of Transportation is to provide safe and efficient school transportation services in an environment that fosters positive social interaction and allows students to be successful learners.

The Department of Transportation is responsible for the safe transportation of more than 80,000 students to and from school each day.

We operate approximately 785 bus routes each day the originate from 11 BCPS facilities and 5 contractor facilities.
