In accordance with Board of Education of Baltimore County’s Rule and Policy 3540, Energy Conservation and Sustainability, the Energy & Sustainability team is dedicated to efficiently managing the energy and water usage of all BCPS schools, administration, and support facilities. Additionally, the Energy & Sustainability team supports sustainability initiatives and practices, such as recycling, the BCPS Food Waste Compost Program, and promoting energy efficiency strategies for schools to implement to reduce their school’s energy consumption.
