Office of Position Management, Classification and HRIS

The Office of Position Management and Classification supports organizational efficiency and effectiveness by administering the equitable allocation, management, and classification of positions for Baltimore County Public Schools.  

Services provided include the following:

Position Management
Ensure the alignment of all positions with the appropriate operating and grant budget.
Develop staffing allocations for schools and offices.
Process transfers, promotions, and other staffing changes.

Administer the classification and compensation plans.
Provide advice and guidance to departments regarding issues.
Maintain job descriptions.
