Services for infants, toddlers and young children between birth and age five include several programs and activities to improve developmental outcomes for young children and their families. Baltimore County’s Birth-to-Five Services encompass:
- Direct services for children and families
- Collaborative partnerships
- Professional development
Our goal is to optimize the growth and development of children in collaboration with their families so that every child experiences learning and social success.
OUR VISION:
All children will enter kindergarten ready to learn. Each family will be empowered to support their child’s development and engage in partnership with their school communities. Baltimore County Public Schools will welcome and support all children and facilitate their smooth entry into kindergarten in their neighborhood schools.
OUR MISSION:
Baltimore County’s Birth-to-Five Services will provide equitable, high quality services, grounded in evidence-based interventions, developmentally appropriate educational services, authentic partnerships, and high quality practices for each eligible child and family.
