Accessing the Magnet Application (form parents of students enrolled in BCPS)
1. If you have a student enrolled in BCPS, but don't have a Parent Account in Focus, go to
Create a Parent Account for instructions on setting up a Parent account.
2. If you have a Parent Account in Focus,
using a CHROME browser, navigate to
https://baltimore.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus
Enter your
username and
password and click
Sign in
OR
If you used a social account to create your parent account in Focus, click the
Google or
Microsoft button.
3. On the left menu of the Parent Portal, under your child's name,
select "Baltimore County Public Schools' Magnet Application 2023" to start your magnet application.
Please be aware, parents may have a pending form to review before accessing the "Baltimore County Public Schools Magnet Application 2023" link. If a green button labeled "Not yet started" or "In progress" appears on the screen, parents must click it to review the form. All forms for all children must be reviewed before parents may begin the magnet application.
