The Office of Title I, Homeless Programs and Community Schools provides
programs, resources, and services funded through the Federal Title I
Part A and McKinney-Vento grants to ensure that all students have a
fair, equal and significant opportunity to excel in Baltimore County
Public Schools.
For the 2023-2024 Fiscal/School Year, we serve students experiencing
homelessness, students attending elementary schools with a poverty rate
of 61% or higher, middle schools with a poverty rate of 55% or higher,
and high schools at the federal mandatory poverty threshold of 75% or
higher, as well as students attending approved institutions.
