The Office of Family & Community Engagement (FACE) provides assistance to families, schools, and community organizations in promoting student achievement and success.

According to the Compass: Pathway to Excellence our focus is to "communicate, engage, and partner with our parents and communities."

The Office of Family and Community Engagement:

• Develops and disseminates materials to support and promote family engagement. 
• Delivers educational resources and outreach programs that empower families to guide their children's learning.
• Manages the BCPS volunteer program and provides support to school-based coordinators.
• Oversees the implementation of the BCPS Student Service Learning plan. 
• Organizes and delivers workshops and professional learning opportunities for school staff.
• Promotes student leadership through the Baltimore County Student Councils, Junior Councils and the Student Member of the Board of Education.
