October 29, 2025 Staff Update: Summer 2026 Professional Learning Dates for Team BCPS Staff
Dear Colleagues—
BCPS remains committed to providing high quality professional development to all members of Team BCPS. We are excited to continue our Highly Effective Teachers, Leaders, and Staff Summer Professional Development Series in 2026. Our shared goal is to develop sustained opportunities for teachers, leaders, and support staff to come together during the summer and engage in focused professional development designed to improve, expand, and align professional learning opportunities for all Team BCPS staff.
We are pleased to share the 2026 in-person, summer professional development schedule. Staff are strongly encouraged to attend all applicable sessions next summer. BCPS has committed significant resources to develop collaborative learning environments and opportunities for all staff. Please note: Staff who attend sessions on June 17 and 18 will gain early access to teaching and learning and content expectations for the 2026-2027 school year and will have the opportunity to work in their classrooms during the August 2026 Systemwide Professional Development Day.
