Now that Valentine's season is over, Cockeysville Middle School's SGA (Student Government) has tallied up the totals for its Flower Gram sales.

The cute and classy red roses attached to pens were sold the weeks leading up to the romantic holiday, delivered to homerooms on the Friday before Valentine's. An overwhelming number of students bought Flower Grams for friends and (ahem) "friends," making the SGA crank out over 250 of them!

Collection boxes were also passed around at home basketball games, tacking an additional $44 to the total.

All of the money raised went to the Maryland SPCA. The animals finding homes should thank Mrs. Dina Staley, head of the CMS student government, and everyone at CMS who helped make the fundraiser happen! In all, we raised $335. On February 23, members of the SGA proudly traveled to the SPCA to donate the money in person.
