I downloaded BusWhere for Schools, but I did not see a place to register. How do I create an account?
For security reasons, BusWhere cannot give access to any parent or student without approval. BusWhere will automatically send out a registration invitation to parents or guardians that have an eligible email address listed on your student's Focus account (EdRights). At this time, we are not able to provide access to any other parties for security purposes.
I received a link but when I went to register, I received a message stating that it was expired.
Please contact your child's school to have the registration link resent.
I was assigned to Bus X, but instead I should be on Bus Y. Can you move me?
BusWhere will only give you access to the bus routes that are officially assigned to your student in Focus. If you would like your student to ride a different bus, please contact the school to provide an alternate address. This address must qualify for transportation for the bus that you are requesting. The Department of Transportation is unable to process this request or assign buses to students whose address doesn't coincide with the assigned route.
I got an email that I was set to receive notifications for Stop X, but I should instead get them for Stop Y.
You can make this change yourself! Simply open the app, tap any stop, and then tap the star or the name of the stop itself to add/remove notifications for that stop. This process applies only if you are changing a stop to another stop listed on the same bus route. Please note: you are not able to change your stop to a stop that is on another bus.
Someone in my family already has an account with BusWhere. Can I use their credentials to log in?
For security reasons, BusWhere accounts are by invitation only.
(BCPS Staff) I cannot log into BusWhere with my credentials.
The Department of Transportation communicates with each school principal to confirm those who should have access to BusWhere.
