Educators,

Registration for the Systemwide Professional Development Day, (SPDD) on August 25, 2026, is now open in KickUp. Educators and paraeducators should register for one or more of the following three professional learning sessions in BCPS registration system (KickUp) depending on whether they attended the early access sessions offered on June 17th-18th, 2025.

AM Session:
Teachers and paraeducators who did not attend Summer PD on June 17, 2026, should register for this section. Participants will explore teaching and learning expectations related to instructional delivery and clarity. The sessions will take place at the assigned school. The registration may be accessed using the collection titled: SPDD: August 25, 2026 - (AM Session) BCPS Teaching and Learning Expectations - All Schools

PM Session:
Teachers and paraeducators who did not attend Summer PD on June 18, 2026, or New Educator Orientation on August 19 and 20 should register for this section. Participants will explore content expectations related to instructional delivery and clarity. The sessions will take place at the assigned school. Registration may be accessed using the collection titled: SPDD: August 25, 2026 - (PM Session) BCPS Content Expectation - All Schools

All Day Session:
Following content areas will meet in person at a centralized location, and participants should register by content area. Registration may be accessed using the collection titled: SPDD: August 25, 2026 - (All Day Session) BCPS Content Expectation K – 12

All Staff
The staff who have not completed their SafeSchools Compliance Training for 2026-2027 may do so if they are not engaged in professional development content. Guidance on the new login process can be found in this BCPS News Hub Post.
