The Office of Application Support and Training is focused on improving technical skills for new and experienced employees to enhance their performance in achieving Highly Effective Teachers, Leaders, and Staff. This office supports all Baltimore County Public Schools employees in their use of technology so that all students meet the requirements of a technologically oriented society. This office manages the following applications: 

  • Employee Evaluation System (Perform) 
  • Registration System (Professional Learning) 
  • Compliance Management System (SafeSchools)  

Technology workshops and inservice courses are available to all Baltimore County Public Schools employees. Training workshops and inservice courses are available on the following topics: Advantage HR, Advantage Financial, UKG Ready, and Microsoft Office (including Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Office 365/One Drive and Teams). Additional workshops include Creating Accessible Documents (in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0) and workshops on various phone models using the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems.
