Skills The Research Process
Conclude your inquiry-based research process by sharing new understandings and reflecting on the learning.

In this last step you will be sharing learning product with authentic audiences, your peers, your community, and larger groups as well.  In addition to feeling a sense of relief, you may also be experience satisfaction and/or disappointment at this stage. You may also be facing concerns about new challenges associated with presentation and sharing.  As you work to collect, produce, and share information, keep in mind that working with others to solve problems and make decisions on issues, topics, and themes being investigated is a primary aim of researching. Sharing what you have learned from your research is both an opportunity and a responsibility.  By participating and collaborating as members of a social and intellectual network of learners, you engage ethically and productively as members of our democratic society. Collaborate locally and remotely with peers, experts, and others to prepare and deliver a “professional” paper or presentation to audiences outside of school.
