Padonia International School families tour the world during PAW Night

More than 150 students and their families attended the eighth annual Padonia Around the World (PAW) Night at Padonia International Elementary. Fifteen countries were represented as the school’s families shared the cultures of their home countries through information displays that packed the gym.

Students received passports to tour the tables in the gym and learn facts about each country. The Padonia staff and PTA coordinated the evening, and the countries represented were: India, El Salvador, Ireland, Germany, Pakistan, Italy, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Peru, Sweden, Norway, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Mexico, and China. To cap off the evening, students performed traditional dances and songs from India, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Afghanistan.

Padonia’s families come from more than 30 different countries.
