White Oak and Oakleigh Elementary Schools Join Forces to “Go Green”


Students at White Oak and Oakleigh Elementary Schools teamed up to plant trees on their adjoining campuses to help improve the outdoor school environment and enhance the existing or newly established habitats.

Under the direction of Blue Water Baltimore, an organization committed to restoring and protecting our local water ways, 15 trees were planted by the students. Also making its debut at the tree planting was, The White Oak Wildcat mascot.
