• May 5, 2025 - Summer Program Staffing begins (tentative)
• May 19, 2025 - Summer Program Interest Form re-opens
• June 1, 2025 - Summer Program Interest form closes
• Required Professional Development Dates:
  • Elementary School Teachers - June 25-26, 2025
  • Middle School Teachers - June 25-26, 2025
  • High School Teachers - June 26, 2025
  • ELD & Inclusion Teachers will attend with the level they are assigned.
  • Outside General Education ESY teachers will receive information regarding PD at a later date.  
• July 3, 2025 -Summer School Teachers on Duty for 3-Hour Set-Up Day
• July 7, 2025 - July 31, 2025 - Summer Program Dates 

 Important Notes: 

• Employees must be able to work for the duration of summer programs, including any required professional development or setup days.  All summer program positions require staff to report in-person to a BCPS school location. 
• All current 10-month employees who wish to be considered for summer programs must complete and submit the Summer Program Interest form each year.
• Only current Baltimore County Public Schools employees are eligible to work for school-based summer programs.  To ensure equitable practices, all Summer Program positions must be filled by current employees working within the same bargaining unit during the school year.
