Employee Absence Management

The Office of Absence Management (OAM) implements strategies to protect and support Baltimore County Public Schools' personnel through the administration of the absence management programs, leaves of absences, and behavioral matters (including fitness for duty and reasonable suspicion).

Absence Management provides resources to employees and supervisors to help them navigate challenging circumstances. We administer Board of Education Policies and Superintendent's Rules in accordance with State and federal laws.
