Mission Statement
The Department of Human Resources Operations provides guidance and expertise on specialized human resources areas to ensure that actions taken are appropriate and in alignment with regulations, policies, rules, bargaining unit agreements, procedures, and the mission and goals of the school system. HR Operations works collaboratively with schools and offices to attract, develop, support, retain, and exit employees throughout their employment and/or retirement.

Ensures due process procedures are consistently implemented in the disciplinary process for all employees across all schools and offices throughout the school system.

Coordinates the employee absence management programs through various programs and services.

Facilitates the identification, analysis, and coverage of potential liability and loss issues for the school system.

Manages the workers compensation and unemployment insurance program for the school system.

Implements the ongoing requirements of employee benefits programs and services.

Coordinates the Employee Wellness and Employee Assistance Program and continue to offer programs and services to employees that improve physical and mental health.

Provides ongoing support, consultation, and training to site-based administrators.
