BCPS is hosting its annual Mind Over Matter Annual Conference. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of children’s mental health and substance use prevention.
There will be two events on March 18, 2026, one for students from 10:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 7:30p.m. for parents/caregivers. This event will be held at Medstar Franklin Square Hospital Conference Center. The event will include a keynote speaker/panel, breakout sessions, and a vendor fair.
Due to space limitations, only 3 students from each middle and high school will be able to attend the student event. A point of contact at each middle and high school will be established and work with the school staff to identify 3 student leaders that will be invited to attend.
