Magnet Programs



2025-2026 Magnet Application Cycle

Lottery results for Elementary and Middle School programs have been released. 
Parents may log into their parent account in SchoolMint to see their child's results and accept/decline offer(s).

Lottery results for High School programs will be released by email March 7, 2025, after 4:30 p.m.

Beginning April 10, parents of students who established residency in Baltimore County after November 1, 2024, may submit a New Resident Application.  Please check back for details.

Services:

 

  • Conduct a centralized magnet admissions process;
  • Disseminate program and application information to parents and students through a variety of means (including a telephone hotline, newspapers, libraries, school personnel, and the Internet);
  • Meet with parent & community groups to discuss programs and application procedures;
  • Organize the countywide Magnet EXPO!;
  • Assist in the review and preparation of evaluation materials for high school magnet programs; and
  • Coordinate efforts with curriculum offices to ensure that magnet programs maintain high standards and rigorous curricula.
