The mission of the Office of Integrated Arts is to provide leadership and support for schools in delivering comprehensive, engaging, and rigorous Music, Dance, Media Arts, Theatre, and Visual Arts instructional programs for all students in grades Pre-K-12 in alignment with the Maryland Fine Arts Standards and National Arts Standards. The Office of Integrated Arts is the content office for Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum and instruction in Performing Arts and Visual Arts. 

The BCPS Music Program is aligned with the National Core Arts Standards, Maryland Fine Arts Standards, and guided by the BCPS Teaching and Learning Framework. Creative expression, active engagement, performance, and development of artistic literacy are hallmarks of music instruction in our schools. Students are empowered to build lifelong relationships with the arts and enriched perspectives as globally competitive citizens.
