How to Join

How Can You Join?

The Area Education Advisory Councils welcome interested citizens committed to public education.

According to Board Policy 1230, each area advisory council is comprised of no more than 15 community members, including 2 BCPS students.

To be eligible to join your AEAC, you must:

  1. Be a resident of Baltimore County; and
  2. Be a resident of the geographic area where your Council is located.

Anyone interested in serving on the AEAC may submit a resume to the AEAC Chair of the AEAC  in their geographic area.
