Purpose:
The purpose of the study is to provide capacity relief at Overlea High School.
Implementation:
The new boundary will be effective starting the 2027-2028 school year (August 2027).
Boundary Study Committee:
A committee of principals, staff, and parents of the study schools will work together to make a recommendation to the Board of Education for new boundaries. Committee members will be selected this summer and will meet up to six times between October and January, including hosting a public information session.
Two parents will be selected from each of the participating schools (Overlea, Loch Raven, and Parkville high schools) and each of the middle schools that feed to these high schools (Parkville, Nottingham, Loch Raven, Pine Grove, Ridgely, and Cockeysville middle schools).
The Committee Member Interest Form is now closed.
Those selected to serve on the committee will be notified by the end of August.
Only of the boundaries of the high schools will be affected in this study. Middle school boundaries are NOT subject to change.
