College and University Partnerships

Baltimore County Public Schools believes in the power of partnerships to develop a strong, diverse, and high-quality workforce.  Our collaborations with colleges and universities provide teachers, and staff with pathways to higher education, career advancement, and professional development.  BCPS partners with accredited colleges and universities to offer:

Teacher Preparation & Pipeline Programs - Pathways for aspiring educators, including teacher apprenticeship programs.
Professional Development & Advanced Degrees - Opportunities for current staff to pursue programs, endorsements, and licensures.
Tuition Assistance & Scholarship Opportunities - Financial support for BCPS staff pursuing education-related degrees.

BCPS employees are offered two options to further their education through a college or university partnership.
