Purpose and Background:
Deer Park Elementary School was constructed in 1970 on its 30.70 acre site located at 9809 Lyons Mill Road. An addition was added in 2000.
The replacement school will provide a state-of-the-art, 21st century K-5 educational facility with adequate parking, a bus loop, student drop-off/pick-up zones with outdoor play areas. The proposed design will increase the state rated capacity (SRC) of the school from 431 to 710.
