Purpose and Background:
The Dundalk and Sollers Point High School is located at 1901 Delvale Ave, Dundalk, MD 21222.
Dundalk and Sollers Point High School was built in 2013. The school will continue to provide a state-of-the-art, 21st century 9-12 educational facility.
Dundalk High School occupies the western side of the complex, and Sollers Point High School occupies the eastern side of the complex. Dundalk High School and Sollers Point High School share some common facilities within the building while operating the schools separately. Shared facilities, such as the Auditorium, Cafeteria, and Gymnasium are at the northern end of the complex.
These additions consist of 16 General classrooms; 5 Special Education classrooms; 5 Science classrooms and 1 Greenhouse; 1 Visual Arts classrooms; 2 Music classrooms; 1 Dance studio; 9 Career & Technical Education (CTE) classrooms; and support spaces.
Design Capacity of the entire school after the addition will be 2,532 students (2,163 for Dundalk HS and 399 for Sollers Point Technical HS).
The addition will add 63,143 gsf in area. The new total area of the building will be 441,905 gsf.
