The Department of Information Technology is divided into two main offices, Applications & Network Security Support Services and Enterprise Resource Planning and Information Technology Operations.
Applications & Network Security Support Services provides exceptional technical support for educational applications, ensuring their seamless integration into the learning environment and empowering educators and students to utilize technology effectively. It also safeguards BCPS’ digital assets, protects sensitive information, and ensures business continuity by implementing robust security measures, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness, and proactively mitigating risks in an ever-evolving threat landscape.
Enterprise Resource Planning and Information Technology Operations supports the Human Recourses and Finance software platform (ERP) and all hardware support including, WiFi, student and teacher devices, the helpdesk, VoIP telephones, and networking.
