The new boundary will be effective for SY 2026-2027 (August 2026).
Purpose:
The purpose of this boundary study is to:
- Expand attendance area for Deer Park Elementary School replacement.
- Expand attendance area for Scotts Branch Elementary School replacement.
- Provide capacity relief to participating Northwest Area elementary schools.
- Facilitate the move of students currently attending Campfield ELC to attend their home school or regional program.
Implementation:
Boundary implementation is anticipated for School Year 2026-2027.

The boundary study committee will be identified this summer and will convene in September 2024. Between September 2024 and December 2024, the group will meet seven (7) times, including hosting a public information meeting. In February and March of 2025, the Board of Education will receive the recommendation, hold a public hearing, and take action on the committee’s recommendation.
