Congratulations!

562 artworks from 168 Baltimore County students received regional recognition from the prestigious Scholastic Art and Writing awards. 205 student artworks received Silver Key awards, marking their distinction in the top 10% of artwork submitted. 176 student artworks received Gold Key awards, marking their distinction in the top 5%. The Gold Key artworks will go on to the national competition with results announced in early Spring. The remaining works were named as honorable mentions marking their distinction in the top 15% of artworks submitted. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7–12.
