Business Education - Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science

The Advanced Placement Program offers a computer science course: Computer Science A. Computer Science A emphasizes object oriented programming methodology with a concentration on problem solving and algorithm development and is meant to be the equivalent of a first-semester college level course in Computer Science. It also includes the study of data structures, design, and abstraction. For more information, please visit the CollegeBoard.

Foundations of Computer Science (Honors) and AP Computer Science Principles may now count as a Technology Education credit towards graduation.  Contact your high school guidance counselor for more information.
