Superintendent Transition Team

Summary of Transition Team Activities – as of 8/1/2012
The Superintendent’s Transition Team has begun the work of gaining input from internal and external stakeholders through the work of the four subcommittees – Organizational Efficiency and Effectiveness, Teaching and Learning, Culture and Context, and Operations and Finance. Various focus groups have been held with school system employees, students, parents, the business community, the faith-based community, and retired employees.

Through the review of past school system audits and reports and the input gleaned from the focus groups, each subcommittee will present short-term and long-range recommendations for the Superintendent’s consideration.  The final report will be due to the Superintendent in late September.
