What do you do as Second Vice President of Baltimore County Student Council?
As the Second Vice President, I work with all Baltimore County middle schools, preparing students for high school, improving their education and work and doing everything that I can to assist in BCPS.

What have you accomplished so far as Second Vice President?
As Second Vice President, I have started a monthly review on middle schools so that I can see what needs improving and what doesn't. I am working with BCPS in order to get almost every middle school a study period. I have also started Dream Boards for students who have a word in mind that they would like to be when they grow up.

What else do you hope to accomplish this year as Second Vice President?
In my position, I really don't know what I hope to accomplish; I just know that, whatever the future holds, I'll be ready. A saying that I live by is "Yesterday was history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift." Every day, I try to work at the best of my ability.

How have your experiences, academic and otherwise, up to this point prepared you for this position?
My skills have helped me in my position. As a kid, I wasn't afraid to get up on a stage and speak; I was organized, ambitious and a good communicator. Really, not a lot of my skills from my past helped me to get to this point; like other kids, I had to have that push in order to do some things.

What excites you most about serving as Second Vice President?
The most fun I have at this position is working with the people. Some of them are just so kind and fun to be around. I enjoy working with them.

What challenges have you faced while serving as Second Vice President? How did you overcome them?
A challenge that I faced was working with one of my opponents whom I faced and beat in my election. We still try our best to work together.

What are your interests, academic and otherwise?
My interests are in politics, cooking, sports, science, machines and Legos.

What are your hopes for this school year?
My hope for this school year is to make sure every student and staff member in BCPS will stay in BCPS. Then, I will do what I will have to do in order to stay where I am and keep improving academically and within BCSC.

What advice do you have for younger student-leaders?
For young leaders, keep on improving, don't give up and follow your dreams. Dream on and dream big.
