Thirteen Hereford Middle School students participated in the 2015 DC Metro Area Rubik’s Challenge, held at the National Electronics Museum on April 15.

Participants were Andrew Brown, August Bubier, Sam Cassell, Mason Dill, Nathan Hamidi, Jonas LaVina, Addison Leisher, Braun Lippe, Christopher Roebuck, Nathan Sakinejad, Carson Stephenson, Daniel Weiss and Andrew Zhu.

The team solved 25 cubes in just 3 minutes 30 seconds. This is 2 minutes 30 seconds faster than their time last year. Daniel Weiss was amazing with his time of 15.87 seconds in the solo heat and was awarded a third place trophy.

Hereford Middle School was the only BCPS school to participate in this competition.
