Roles and Responsibilities

Who is available to help me succeed online?

The Online Teacher is the primary teacher for your online course.

The Online Teacher:

  • Provides course and content resources
  • Provides quizzes and tests
  • Monitors participation
  • Tracks your progress in the course

The Mentor Teacher is an adult in your school who provides support to you while you are taking your online course.

The Mentor Teacher:

  • Works directly with you to:
    • Help you with the coursework
    • Supervise your quizzes and tests
    • Give other assistance as you have questions
  • Communicates with your Online Teacher regularly about your progress and your needs
