Woodlawn Middle School is located in the Southwest section of Baltimore County. It is a suburban community that borders Baltimore City and has a total school enrollment of 650 students.Woodlawn Middle School holds monthly Task Force meetings with parents, central office staff, community members and local business members in order to keep them abreast of what is going on at Woodlawn Middle as well as to get input on its programs and the School Improvement process. Woodlawn makes sure that it keeps Parents informed through the use of meetings, newsletters, teacher created websites, phone calls and the Connect-Ed automated information system. Woodlawn Middle School’s academic achievement continues to improve with the ongoing implementation of the School Improvement Restructuring Plan. Woodlawn Middle has again met the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standard, with significant improvements made in all areas.
