Chesapeake High School is a comprehensive magnet high school located in the southeast area of Baltimore County. In 2006, CHS became the first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Academy in the state of Maryland. CHS offers eleven rigorous pathways within four academies of study. Our partnerships with Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman have provided enriching experiences for both students and staff. In 2009 CHS is proud to launch one of the nations first Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) through a collaborative effort between BCPS, Breakaway Games, TrainingPort Strategies and Johns Hopkins University.This new VLE will combine a unique classroom and labratory experience that signifies great strides in the use of technology in education.
