Dundalk High School is a comprehensive high school for Dundalk and the surrounding communities. The current school building, opened in 1959, houses a variety of programs. Throughout the school’s history, its programs have produced a succession of county and state politicians, athletic champions, celebrities, and successful business people. An active alumni association takes pride in the ongoing success of the school and its students.
Dundalk High School currently provides its students with a full array of academic and career programs. These offerings include Advanced Placement, Honors and GT programs, award-winning programs in Broadcast Communications and Business and Finance, career completers in Teacher Education, Criminal Justice(in conjunction with CCBC Dundalk). New programs include Homeland Security (part of Criminal Justice) and Advance Path. In addition, DHS also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities including athletics, clubs, and leadership opportunities. Students may also participate in parallel enrollment with CCBC Dundalk for college credit.
