Welcome to Kenwood High School, home of the Bluebirds,
where "Knowledge, Honor, Service" is the standard, as well
as our motto.

A comprehensive high school with more than 1800
students in grades 9 - 12, Kenwood High has proudly served
a diverse suburban area of northeastern Baltimore County
since 1932. The present school facility was built in 1955.
A newly completed wing opened in Fall 2007, providing 16
additional classrooms and a satellite Cafeteria for Seniors.
Renovation of the Tech Ed wing provided new technology
labs, classrooms and workshops for plumbing, carpentry
and Jr. ROTC and a new TV Studio. This year, morning
announcements will be televised and a production crew will
support instruction with student-produced video.
