Considerations for using BCPS School Attendance Boundary Maps:
The following boundary maps were created by the Baltimore County Public Schools Office of Strategic Planning to locate schools and display attendance boundaries. BCPS has made substantial efforts to ensure accuracy of information, however, anomalies in street representation can and do occur. Therefore, before committing to a move or property purchase with the intent of attending specific schools, the address should be verified via telephone with a representative of the Office of Strategic Planning at (410) 887 - 4215. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please have a complete address listing ready when inquiring, including house number, complete street name, and zip code.
Every address in Baltimore County is assigned a single home elementary school, middle school, and high school. There are no cases of an address having a "choice" of more than one home elementary, middle, or high school.
Addresses in question of being "on the border" of the Baltimore City/Baltimore County line should refer to an official tax bill for the property. In order to be eligible to attend Baltimore County Schools, the property of residence must reflect either all, or partial, payment of Baltimore County taxes.
Attendance boundaries can and do change to accommodate emerging road patterns, the opening or closing of a school, or to relieve overcrowding in schools. There is no expressed guarantee to the perpetuity of any given boundary.
These maps do not reflect any administrative policies or programs of BCPS, which could influence student enrollment at a given school (e.g. enrollment caps, special education placement, magnet programs, etc.)
Due to graphic limitations, it is not feasible to label every street within a boundary. These maps are not universal in scale, and are therefore not intended to be used for distance measuring.
All maps are in Adobe Acrobat format, and require Adobe Acrobat Viewer to view or print the images. This software is available for free download from http://www.adobe.com.
For any other questions regarding these maps, please contact the BCPS Office of Strategic Planning at the number listed above.
