Blue Ribbon Schools in Baltimore CountyThe National No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon Schools Program

Each year the U.S. Department of Education honors a select group of public and private K-12 schools that are either academically superior in their states or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement. The following Baltimore County Public Schools have been designated National No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon Schools.

Maryland Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Program

Through the Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Program, each year the Maryland State Department of Education recognizes 11 elementary or secondary schools on the basis of their outstanding leadership, teaching environment, curriculum and instruction, student environment, parent and community support, indicators of success (including student and school performance assessments), and organizational vitality.
