Psychological services in the schools are provided with a focus on achievement for all students, maintenance of a safe and orderly learning environment, and use of resources in an effective and efficient manner. As an Office within the Department of Student Support Services, school psychologists enable all students to maximize their educational opportunities. School psychologists provide consultation, assessment, and intervention services to students, parents, school staff, and system staff members. School psychologists assist students in achieving optimal cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional functioning. School psychologists support quality instruction.
