Post Secondary Functional Academic Learning Support Programs

The  BCPS PSFALS programs partner with The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) and Towson University to provide challenging inclusive learning opportunities and share community transition resources for certificate bound young adults with significant disabilities.  These programs facilitate the development of self-advocacy, functional  academic, vocational, social  skills and community experiences.

  • BCPS students enrolled in these programs are 19-21 years old and have developmental disabilities.

  • BCPS funds staffing and transportation.

  • Students learn functional, age appropriate fundamental life skills and participate in career development activities.

  • Students must meet eligibility criteria for consideration for participation in a PSFALS program.
