Mission: The purpose
of the Disability Awareness Program is to promote disabilities
awareness and acceptance in the classroom and school community.
The goal is to encourage positive perceptions of individuals
with disabilities by focusing on similarities and abilities
rather than differences. The program will serve to provide
training, information, activities, resources, etc. related to
disabilities identified under Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA).
