Animal Classification of Insects
Fall and Spring
Locations:
Oregon Ridge Nature Center or Days Cove (Fall only)

Essential Question:
How can the special parts of insects be used to classify them into groups?

This program, which supports the BCPS 2nd grade Skeeters unit,. It includes a 45-minute opening, interpretive nature exploration, and associated activities.

The Days Cove site requires a minimum of 3 parents to attend a 3 hour training session prior to the field study. There is a $3.00/student facility use fee for Days Cove only.
