Location: Oregon Ridge Nature Center

Essential Question: How do you determine the health of a stream? 

During this field experience, students will use the information they have learned in the classroom to analyze the chemical, physical, and biological data they collect from a stream that is either located near their school or one located at Oregon Ridge Nature Center. Students will use LaMotte and CHEMetric test kits to collect chemical data and kick seines to sample benthic macroinvertebrates.
