Founded
in 1941, Camp Puh’tok is located in Northern Baltimore
County near Hereford, Maryland. It resides amid 350 acres of
pristine woodland which are bordered by the scenic Gunpowder
Falls and the 18,000 acre Gunpowder Falls State Park. The camp
provides summer programs for boys and girls from six to sixteen
that emphasize leadership, teamwork, spirituality, appreciating
nature and discovering their American heritage. Baltimore County
Public Schools is allowed to use Camp Puh’tok during its
off seasons to provide authentic field studies for their students.
The unspoiled natural setting paired with the Camp’s resources
provide a one of a kind experience for elementary students.
