How to Use SIRS Discoverer WebFind (a tool to search for recommended websites)

The SIRS Discover Webfind is one of the fee-based databases available for free to Baltimore County Public School students and their families. It provides access to recommended websites about your topic, in other words it provides trailblazer pages. Trailblazer pages are web sites of links about a topic especially prepared by someone knowledgeable about the topic. To use SIRS Discoverer Webfind, you temporarily leave eLabsInc. Read all the following directions before you begin.

1. Access SIRS Discoverer WebFind.

2. Enter bcps for the username.  Enter the password supplied by your school librarian and click the Login button.

3. Click the Discoverer WebFind button.

4. Type your search term into the search field and click the Search button.

4. Click any article that interests you to open it.

5. When you are finished using the SIRS Discoverer WebFind, click the Back button in your browser until you return to eLabsInc.
