  STEM Fair Main Site
Here is some useful background for students.

Q & A

Imagine you are at a leading scientific and engineering company called eLabsInc.  Here at eLabsInc you will find imaginary students who are busy learning about how science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) are used in the real world. These imaginary students are conducting their own investigations and they are willing to share what they know with you.

The heart of this website is the "explorations".  Each exploration teaches you about one stage of the STEM fair process.  Each exploration is hosted by an imaginary fourth or fifth grade student just like you.  These hosts and hostesses are experienced STEM fair participants.  They provide great advice and allow you to learn along side of them!      If this is your first visit to this website:

  1. Have an adult check out the technical requirements before you begin.
  2. If using the Internet is new for you, learn about getting around on web pages.
  3. Then, listen to Robby (the Robot) explain the basics of an exploration.
  4. Choose one:

I want to start at the beginning.

I want to jump right into a particular area. I'm having a specific problem.
